You will always get that message if the onboard ethernet adapter is not plugged into anything. May 19, 2017 · The network cable is loose or unplugged. To resolve this issue, verify that the network cable is plugged in securely to the correct locations on the computer and on the network device. Note Some computers may have multiple network adapters. However, the ethernet adapter is enabled but beneath the words "Local Area Connection" is written "Network cable unplugged". Right clicking on it only presents the option to disable as it is LOCAL AREA CONNECTION A NETWORK CABLE IS UNPLUGGED. WHEN i click on it it has INTEL (r)100ve network connection. I don't know what to do from there. When i am disconnecting the other problem comes up INTERNET EXPLORER NEEDS TO CLOSE. On the bottom where it shows my connection provider reads ABOUT BLANK. I dont know what to do here. Hello everybody. I got a problem with my network adapter. Apr 14, 2010 [SOLVED] Network Cable Unplugged icon | Tech Support Nov 20, 2008 Local Area Connection: Cable showing as unplugged My Realtek RTL8168C(P)/8111C(P) Family PCI-E Gigabit Ethernet NIC shows as enabled and that the device is working properly. However I can't connect to the Local Area Connection because I get a "Network Cable Unplugged" message. The cable is definitely plugged in. I have gone out and bought a new cable just in case and get the same message.
